Tara is a dynamic leader with extensive experience across industries such as technology, manufacturing, retail, GreenTech, MedTech, and finance.

Her expertise in market expansion, business strategy and transformation, marketing and innovation is underpinned by a career spanning decades of hands-on operational and strategic leadership in commercialisation, digital technology, and campaign management. She has a proven track record of creating and driving initiatives that deliver measurable success while building and inspiring high-performing teams.

Tara’s role as an advisor goes beyond offering recommendations. She partners with boards and C-level executives to develop bespoke strategies that address complex challenges and capitalise on growth opportunities. She has helped an Australian MedTech company, TekCyte, bring a world-first solution for antimicrobial resistance to the global market and guided a carbon capture company to secure millions of dollars in investment. In collaboration with Visit Victoria, she also led multi-million-dollar destination tourism campaigns focused on fostering industry partnerships, showcasing her ability to align diverse stakeholders towards shared objectives.

Her commercial leadership extends to government and public sectors, where she has worked in media and communications, including roles involving direct collaboration with Ministers. She has handled crisis management and navigated highly sensitive political situations, bringing a steady and strategic hand to high-pressure scenarios.

Her ability to operate effectively in complex and fast-paced environments has earned her the trust of senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Tara served as the Head of Global Marketing for a manufacturing company with retail operations spanning the USA, New Zealand, Europe, Australia, and China. In this role, she managed a global team of stakeholders and created a new B2C brand and product range that positioned the company for broader market appeal. She also optimised the supply chain to enhance operational efficiency and transitioned the company’s eCommerce system globally, significantly improving the experience for sales staff and B2B customers. Her efforts not only elevated the brand but also drove substantial international growth. 

Her vast experience also includes managing major technology implementation and adoption projects, where she ensured business alignment, researched optimal solutions, and created effective policies. She has decades of expertise managing website and app development, blending technical knowledge with strategic foresight.
